Obituary of William Ernest Bradley

BRADLEY, William Ernest “Ernie”- June 4, 1928 - June 16, 2015 On June 16, 2015, William Ernest Bradley passed away unexpectedly but peacefully 12 days after his 87th birthday. Formerly of Huddersfield, England, Ernie (as he was known to family and friends) brought his family to Canada in 1962 where he built a successful life full of love for his wife Patricia and children Susan, Richard and David and his daughter-in-law Karen. After the kids left the nest, Pat and Ernie spent a happy life in Tillsonburg for more than twenty years before returning to Mississauga early in 2014 to be closer to their children. He was adored by his grandchildren Matthew, Sarah and Nicky, Mitchell, Christopher and Nicholas, Berkley and Elle who revelled in his sense of humour. His faithful companion and dog Charlie was never far from his side. He was the best spouse, father and grandfather anyone could ask for. He was a best friend to all of us, true mentor and hero as he guided us along the right path. He loved us and was loved back tremendously. We’ll miss you and will love you forever. We invite you to celebrate Ernie’s life on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Magnolia Chapel of St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St. East, Mississauga) Visiting will be held one hour prior. A reception in his honour will follow the service, and cremation will take place per his wishes. For memorial donations & memories please visit his Memorial Webpage at www.ecofuneral.ca
